1 What special features apply to the Deutschlandticket Job
If an employer is willing to contribute at least 25 per cent of the cost for each Deutschlandticket, the employer can conlude a framework agreement with the VAG. 2 Who is entitled to apply for a Job ticket?
If there is an active framework agreement with your employer, a Jobticket can be ordered. You will receive the access data for ordering a Jobticket via the VGN online shop from your HR department or the Jobticket contact person in your company. The HR deapartment releases your order and confirms to the VAG that you are an employee of the company. Only then the order will be forwared to the VAG.
3 What deadlines apply when ordering?
Jobtickets can usually be ordered up to 10 days before the start of validity. We reserve the right to extend this pre-order period in certain cases (e.g. Christmas)
4 How can I change my personal data, the subscription product or the route?
You can change your name, address or account details directly at MeinAbo or by writing at (verkauf@vag.de). Certain changes require the issuing of a new eTicket. If you are moving please check wheter your previous tariff zones are also valid for your new journey. If your tariff zones change, please also contact VAG to have the tariff zones changed on your eTicket.
5 Can I change my Annual ticket (JahresAbo), 6-month season ticket (Abo6) or 3-month season ticket (Abo3) to a Job ticket?
If you already have a subscription with the VAG, please do not cancle your existing subscription. The VAG will convert your existing subscription to the Jobticket after you have placed your order.
If your subscription was issued by another transport company or contractual partner, you must actively cancle the existing ticket. You will receive a new eTicket or mobile ticket from the VAG.
6 How and when can I cancel my Job ticket?
The Jobticket runs for an indefinite period. Cancellations are always possible in text form at the end of the calendar month in which the cancellation takes place. You are also welcome to do so via the online administartion - VGN OnlineShop MeinAbo. The entitlement to participate in the Jobticket ends automatically if the requirements for participation in the Jobticket are no longer met by your employer. eTickets do not have to be returned in the event of termination.
7 Will I be informed about changes in prices?
The amount collected will change automatically if prices change. You will not be explicitly informed. Your Job ticket is valid in all the zones you wish to travel through. Please enter the starting point and destination of your journey in the order form. You can either enter the zones you will be travelling through yourself or have them entered by VAG. VAG calculates the price level on the basis of these zones.
8 What happens if direct debits are not carried out?
If, after two direct debits have not been carried out, your employer does not retain from your pay and transfer to VAG the outstanding amounts in arrears, including the bank and processing fees for the return bookings, the matter will be passed on to our collection agency for further action. If within a following period of one year an amount can again not be debited, VAG will terminate your Job ticket.
9 What can I do if I lost my eTicket?
Please contact the VAG customer center if you lose your VGN Job ticket. The customer center will replace lost tickets to customers who present their identity card and pay a fee of currently €30.00.
10 What should I do if I forget my Job ticket at home?
Don't worry. You will not have to pay more to travel if you bring your identity card to our customer center within the deadline given on the complaints form. No charge is made the first time round this happens. The second time you forget your ticket and on all other occasions you will be asked to pay a handling fee of seven euros. It would be cheaper – if you notice that you have forgotten your Job ticket (Abo-Ausweis) before starting your journey – to buy a ticket for the journey.
11 Will my subscription be renewed automatically?
Your Job ticket will continue to be valid for the contract term of the framework contract agreed between your company and VAG. The Job ticket is renewed automatically, unless you cancel or the framework contract with your company is terminated. This can happen if the preconditions for a Job ticket are no longer met in your company.
